Who we are

Pershing Technologies, LLC (“Pershing,” “we,” “us”) is an independent audiovisual consulting firm in the United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect through pershingtech.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Information you give us

When you send a message through our contact form, we receive your name, email address, organization, and message. When you email us, including job applications sent to jobs@pershingtech.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, such as a résumé.

We use this information to reply to you, to discuss a potential project or role, and to keep a record of our correspondence. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries and running our business, and on taking steps you have asked for before entering into a contract. We don’t sell this information or add you to a mailing list.

Information collected automatically

Our site is hosted by Framer. To deliver pages and keep the site secure, Framer’s servers process technical information such as your IP address and browser type. We use Framer’s built-in analytics to count visits; it doesn’t use cookies or identify individual visitors.

One of our fonts is delivered by Google Fonts, so when our pages load, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.

If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser stores that choice on your device. It isn’t sent to us.

Cookies

Our site doesn’t use cookies, and we don’t use advertising or tracking tools. If that changes, we will ask for your permission before setting any cookies that aren’t essential, and update this policy.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as we need them to respond and to manage any project that follows, and generally for no more than two years after our last contact unless they relate to a project. We keep job applications for up to one year after a hiring decision, unless you are hired or ask us to keep yours longer.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf: Framer, which hosts our website, contact form, and site analytics; and Google, which provides our email through Google Workspace. We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We don’t sell personal information or share it for advertising.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When information about people in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Your rights and choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Depending on where you live, including the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and several U.S. states, you may also have the right to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email info@pershingtech.com. We will respond within one month.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and believe we have mishandled your information, you can complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no website or email system is completely secure.

Children

Our site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
